At Irish Socks we are proud to be one of the biggest supporters of the Irish crafts industry for the past 75 years. All of our products are made in Ireland by local manufacturers and small businesses.
Irish Socks is an initiative by Quills Woollen Market to encourage both residents and visitors to shop and do business locally with Irish companies wherever and whenever possible.
By making a conscious decision to support the business community in Ireland you are helping local businesses to continue trading to their highest possible standards, and also very importantly you are actively supporting jobs in the local area.
Many staff and workers are employed in the crafts industry in Ireland, in the shops, production facilities, transport and logistics, not to mention all the various other businesses that are indirectly impacted upon. By spending your money on Irish Products you are taking part in one of the biggest community drives in recent times to make Ireland the best possible place for every person to live, work and play in.
This year we sponsored Alan Goggin and Sean Moynihan to complete a 179 KM charity race along the Ring of Kerry.
Also we were one of the founding members of the Valley Wheelers cycling club which has grown from 20 members to now several hundred. We continue to support local initiatives and supply all cycling jerseys to members.
